Frederik Pohl: Science Fiction's oldest blogger?

I just found out that Frederik Pohl (born in 1919) has a blog.

I started reading Science Fiction in the early 80s, and Pohl's Gateway was one of those books that really resounded. It had great characters (including a computerized therapist) and a great story, and like all great Scifi works in print, film, and television, created a convincing world.

When I read Gateway for the first time, the book was already a few years old. Later in the decade, I read JemPohl blog and sought out his other books in the Gateway series. I continued to re-read his more recent works and what new books I could find, but I never knew what happened to Pohl himself -- I didn't subscribe to Science Fiction magazines or attend "Cons", which was how most fans connected with authors in the late 20th century.

Today I was filling out my Goodreads profile, and through a series of clicks happened upon a link which took me to his blog. Pohl has a blog! Last month he posted about his earliest recollections of the late Ray Bradbury, who he met in 1939. He's also interacting with his readers, something that wasn't possible for most fans back in the 20th century.

This made me think: Are there other #SciFi greats from the mid- to late-20th century who are still blogging? It's worth exploring ...
